Accounting Manager (Corvallis, OR)
Overview
Perpetua Power Source Technologies is a growing, venture-backed
company that designs and manufactures renewable energy solutions
for wireless sensors. We are looking for an accounting manager to
join our talented team in Corvallis, Oregon. The ideal candidate
will be highly motivated and able to work effectively in a dynamic
environment.
Key Activities
• Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities
including accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing,
customer credits and collections, payroll, inventory integrity,
fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting,
and human resources
• Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording
of all transactions
• Implement disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks
• Interface with outside audit firms, banks, insurance agents,
credit card companies, and collection agencies
• Aid in the structured decision making of capital asset purchases
• Work closely with the President and CEO on a number of company
initiatives, including the development of various fringe benefit
programs
• Provide leadership, in coordination with the President and
CEO, for all company accounting, finance, & HR functions
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, GPA>3.5 and Master’s
Degree preferred
• Two or more years of directly related experience
• Experience with QuickBooks or enterprise accounting software
(including manufacturing modes)
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency calculating figures and amounts for bookkeeping,
payroll, budgets, statistical analysis and probability statements
• Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
Helpful Experiences
• Certified Public Accounting license
• Experience with grant accounting for SBIR Phase II’s
and/or DARPA

Electrical Engineer (Corvallis, OR)
Overview
Perpetua Power Source Technologies is a growing, venture-backed
company that designs and manufactures renewable energy solutions
for wireless sensors. We are looking for an electrical design engineer
to join our talented team in Corvallis, Oregon. The ideal candidate
will be a highly motivated engineer who can work effectively in
a dynamic environment.
Key Activities
• Co-design, review, and test circuits for use with energy
harvesters (thermoelectric, solar, vibration)
• Integrate and test energy harvesters with wireless sensor
systems
• Define, specify, and qualify new Perpetua product offerings
• Create and maintain product documentation
• Co-develop test equipment for new and existing products
• Work collaboratively with sales/marketing colleagues to
address customer requirements
• Balance personal and team contributions to ensure project
success
Qualification Requirements
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, GPA > 3.5 and M.S. preferred
• Experience with low power designs, analog electronics, microcontrollers,
and 802.15.4
• Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture tools
• Excellent self-management capabilities and ability to achieve
quick time-to-market products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communications skills (written and verbal)
Helpful Experiences
• TI MSP 430, C++, and/or PIC Controller programming
• LabVIEW
• Battery charge/discharge control and DC/DC power converters
• Product packaging: thermal management, robust connections
• Product certifications processes: Intrinsically Safe, UL,
Mil-Std, ATEX and/or others
