Software Engineer (Corvallis, OR)

Overview
We are looking for a talented software design engineer to join our outstanding team in Corvallis, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated engineer who can work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Activities
• User experience driven software solution (Application level) development
• Technology enhancement and integration of existing OTS solutions
• Integrate and test renewable power source solutions with wireless sensor systems
• Embedded software design, implementation and integration responsibilities for a diverse set of power source technologies, sensor interfaces and microcontroller based WSN solutions
• Define, specify, and qualify new Perpetua product offerings
• Create and maintain product documentation, implement source control management
• Co-develop test plans for new and existing products
• Work collaboratively with sales/marketing colleagues to address customer requirements
• Balance personal and team contributions to ensure project success

Qualification Requirements
• B.S. Computer Systems or CSET, GPA > 3.5 and M.S. preferred
• Solid software design skills: Object Oriented design concepts, Information Hiding principals, Design Patterns
• Expert software language skills: C, C++ and ASM
• LabVIEW, Visual Studio, and database design/integration
• Excellent self-management capabilities and ability to achieve quick time-to-market products
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communications skills (written and verbal)

Helpful Experiences
• Experience with embedded software development and tools; JTAG/serial debug implementation, make, compile, locate, debug, firmware programming, NV Memory implementations, ADC, DAC, I2C and interrupt processing for various microcontroller based targets.
• Experience with low power designs, analog electronics, microcontrollers, and 802.15.4
• Networking background and understanding of WAN/LAN infrastructures
• Experience delivering software products and solutions to customers.
• Knowledge and practice of user experience design techniques.

Thin-Film Lab Technician (Corvallis, OR)

Overview
We are looking for a talented thin-film lab technician to join our outstanding team in Corvallis, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated technician who can work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Activities
• Operate and maintain photolithography patterning tools, processes, and relevant documentation including photoresist application, operation of mask aligner, development, and baking of substrates
• Work with engineering staff to execute design of experiment (DOE) plans in the fabrication of thin-film thermoelectric generators (TEGs)
• Handling of substrates in various wet baths for thin-film device structuring
• Device pattern evaluation by precise microscopic work
• Observe and document processes, providing improvement suggestions to engineering staff
• Maintain consumable supplies
• Assist with the other production steps of TEG manufacturing, including physical vapor deposition and assembly

Qualification Requirements
• Associates Degree with a minimum of 3 years thin-film semiconductor experience in a lab environment or Bachelors degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences with relevant lab or REU experience and minimum 3.5 GPA
• Experience in the operation of photoresist spinners, mask aligners, developers, microscopes, ovens, and wet baths
• Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel, Word, and Access
• Demonstrated experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously
• High motivation and work ethic, flexible team player that complements a fast moving team

Helpful Experiences
• Thin-film physical vapor deposition experience including: operation of high vacuum laboratory sputtering tools and substrate preparation
• Micro assembly experience
• Electro-mechanical experience
• Controls experience

Asia Channel Sales Manager (Corvallis, OR)

Overview
We are looking for a talented and experienced Sales Channel Manager to join our outstanding team in Corvallis, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who can equip and support identified distributors in Asian markets to result in strong revenue generation. This position requires someone who has excellent multi-cultural communication skills.

Key Activities
• Develop successful sales channel within Asian market countries
• Create and deliver product and sales training
• Manage portfolio to support web, printed, presentation, sales tools and other channel content requirements
• Build and nurture relationships with global clients
• Manage forecast to support business planning
• Communicate current and future channel product requirements
• Ensure support systems are in place to support the channel

Qualification Requirements
• B.A. in Marketing, Business or related field, GPA > 3.5 and M.B.A. preferred
• Sales, Marketing, and/or Account Management
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience working within Japanese or Chinese market
• Marketing skills, including research, collateral and presentation development
• Sales training development and/or delivery
• Familiarity with automation processes within industrial markets
• Adept at using remote communications tools

Helpful Experiences
• Factory automation, systems integration, application configuration
• Proficient in Japanese language
• Familiarity with condition monitoring, wireless sensors, renewable technology, and/or electronic components
