Perpetua
Demonstration Kits come with everything needed to assist you with
determining optimum locations for powering your wireless sensor
devices.
Overview
Based on the Seebeck effect, Perpetua thermoelectric units convert
temperature differences into an electrical potential, or voltage,
for powering wireless sensors.
Engineers can easily determine
ideal application locations by placing the demonstration modules
on various warm surfaces, such as pumps, pipes, motors, HVAC systems,
etc. In general, the units will increase energy output with higher
available temperature differences (the difference between the warm
surface it is placed on and the surrounding ambient air temperature).
Simply connect the Perpetua demonstration
units to the included wireless transmitter, place on a warm surface,
turn on the wireless handheld meter, and the transmitter will begin
transmitting data.
